ODOT project would add bike lanes on key stretch of N Lombard
Let’s demand real bike lanes.
Note: I'm currently on a family trip and not working normal hours. Email and message responses will be delayed and story and posting volumes here and on our social media accounts will not be at their usual levels until I return to Portland September 4th. Thanks for your patience and understanding. - Jonathan Maus, BikePortland Publisher and Editor
Let’s demand real bike lanes.
A mile of new protection and new possibilities.
It’s not amazing; but it’s there.
It doesn’t have an official name, but I’ll always think of this as the Martin Greenough Memorial Bike Path.
The more dangerous our streets are, the better our bike maps need to be.
A positive step that came at too great a cost.
One on Lombard, the other on Rosa Parks.
This isn’t the first time New Seasons customers have parked in bike lanes.
Lombard is unsafe for cycling and ODOT needs to address it.
Will it lead to anything?
The suspect’s family has blamed the road design.
