With incredible support from many people and organizations, the Gorge Pedal ride happened this July. It delights my soul that this happened and reinforces several public and hidden agendas in regard to our needs of our incredible World Heritage Site worthy Columbia River Gorge.
It will be nothing short of spectacular.
Let’s hope he shares his ideas with ODOT and the OTC.
From John Yeon Trailhead to Cascade Locks.
An experimental carfree lane in the Gorge will have to wait.
With any luck, they’ll make it permanent — and expand it.
Take note and please spread the word.
The path would connect to adjacent trails and bike routes.
If only they would have taken his advice.
Transit options to the Gorge just keep getting better.
