After a fire back in August completely gutted the Northeast Portland headquarters of BikeTiresDirect.com, Velotech Inc. is getting back on its feet.
Velotech (which also runs WesternBikeworks.com) has leased a new, 20,000 square foot warehouse, office and retail space and they’ve planned a grand opening party for October 30th.
In a statement released by the company yesterday, Velotech President Jay Torborg said that,
“Within hours of the fire, we began receiving calls and emails from our customers wishing us a quick recovery. Our employees pulled together to outfit and restock the new warehouse and we were up and running in record time. We look forward to the future in our new home.”
The grand opening event will include food, drinks, and special deals for in-store customers. There will also be a raffle that will include a Leopard Cycles L1 carbon frame and fork. Online customers will also get free shipping through Sunday, November 2nd.
The new BikeTiresDirect.com is located at 5741 NE 87th Ave.
It’s great to see Velotech get back into business.
