It’s the last weekday of Pedalpalooza and we’ve got another full menu to choose from.

The day starts out with donuts, ends with tall-bike jousting, and there’s some cowboy wrangling and some hob-nobbing with our next mayor thrown in between.

Does it get any better than that?!

Sisyphean Cruller Crawl – Part 2
Wilshire Park , NE 35th Ave and Skidmore St
7:00am
Join us for a mythic ride on the east side of Portland. Climb a hill or two, and let us shoulder the pastry burden. The pace will be moderate, since your leaders will also be hauling coffee.

Now What? What to Do When the Bike Path Ends
Citybikes Annex, SE 8th Ave and Ankeny St (by cob bench/kiosks)
2:30pm – 5:30pm, depart at 2:15
Zen & the art of finding more pleasant bike routes on neighborhood streets, especially when the bike path alongside car, bus & truck traffic ends abruptly. Ride will end at 5:30 under the west end of the Burnside Bridge for those inclined to join that party!

Sam Adams’ Ride
City Hall, 1221 SW 4th Ave (congregate outside)
5:00pm, Ride at 5:30.
From my home in North Portland to my office in City Hall downtown, I have a great commute. It’s the end of the work week and nearly the end of Pedalpalooza. Join me for my ride home to Kenton. We’ll stop for a few wonky points of interest and then a beer.

Tour de Milwaukie
Ledding Library of Milwaukie, 10660 SE 21st Ave, Milwaukie

Dare to go beyond the limit–of Portland, that is! We’ll take a grand tour of Milwaukie, Portland’s charming neighbor to the south. Learn about Milwaukie history, see unique points of interest around town, and get briefed on current efforts for making the town more bike-friendly. Our ride will end at a food establishment in downtown Milwaukie, so bring money. (All the cool kids eat dinner in Clackamas County!)

The Cowboy Ride
Roots Brewing, 1520 SE 7th Ave, Portland
6:00pm, leaves at 6:30
get your boots, hat and lariat and get ready for a massive cowboy ride. prizes for best cowboy and cowgirl plus other surprises! the ride will be followed by a rodeo style house party with thematic events.

Bike-In Movie at the Hawthorne Hostel
HI Portland-Hawthorne Hostel, 3031 SE Hawthorne Blvd
7:00pm – 10:00pm, food and movies at 7pm, movies at dark
An annual tradition… see bicycle related movies under the stars in the Hawthorne Hostel’s spacious side yard! Enjoy some pre-movie live music and food donated by local businesses! Volunteers needed, contact us to help out!

Freak Friday! Corporate America Themed Tall Bike Jousting
Irving Park, NE 7th Ave and Fremont St (Meet at Irving Park, ride to mystery jousting location)
10:30pm, We will have a bike ride to mystery location and then Jousting!, Last Friday of every month
North Freak is a collective for people who love freak bicycles, such as tall bikes, choppers, swing bikes, minibikes and anything else fun and creative you can think of.st time!
