Purchasing these books (or any books or DVDs you find through these links) supports two local businesses: Powell's Books and BikePortland.org.

You don't even need to purchase books about cycling, although there are a good 1200 or so bike oriented titles at last check. You might opt for pint glasses, t-shirts, -- or DVDs like the PBS publication, The National Parks: America's Best Idea

Perhaps you or somebody you know is all about the bike and can't get enough of that Lance guy. His latest memoir,Comeback 2.0, is now available in full, grimacing color.

Two more gift worthy featured titles at the BikePortland Bookstore are The Noblest Invention: An Illustrated History of the Bicycle

...and leading american bicycle tool manufacturer Park Tool's Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair.

Looking for bike-themed books for the little ones in your life? Check out these options.

Whether it's for Christmas, a birthday or Messenger Appreciation Day, you can always find the right gift gifts via BikePortland's Bookstore.

I highly recommend that "Illustrated History of the Bicycle". It moved from my coffee table to my mantle and it's a hoot.

As far as memoirs go, I'm holding out for one from Fabian Cancellara.

Don't forget to visit Pedal Bike Tours to check out all the great hand made products from local artists such as panniers from Queen Bee, bracelets from Povera, Helmuffs from Gigi's Handywork, art from Ben Parsons and Anthony Baysore and more.
