Yes, we know tonight is the big Ducks vs. Beavers Civil War football game, but for anyone not planning to watch that…
Tonight in downtown Portland you can stimulate your mind with paintings and conversation based on our favorite topic: bicycles.
From 5:00-7:00pm we’re hosting a social meet-up at Floyd’s Coffee Shop (118 NW Couch). With the BTA looking for a new leader (and a new identity), a new Bicycle Plan on the horizon, a massive infrastructure project looming, and the ever-evolving landscape of our local bike scene, we thought it was time to get together and chat in person.
After our social, head over to Cafe Voila (901 SW Washington) for a look at Portland artist Chris Davis’ “Bike Parking” exhibition of bicycle-themed acrylic paintings and ink drawings. Tonight is the official opening (the show runs through January) and, in traditional First Thursday fashion, there will be munchies and drinks for all who attend.
