A landmark building on Portland’s central eastside is about to be significantly redeveloped, and the folks behind the project plan to make it very bike-friendly.

The B&O building on SE Stark and 2nd (between the Morrison and Burnside bridges) is being re-constructed by Portland-based Beam Development into creative office space for small businesses.

A couple years old but in very good condition. It has all Campagnolo parts on it, a richey stem, and grey handlebar tape. It also had a computer on it. Was stolen with out the front wheel, and had no peddals.

Stolen Custom frame with no markings custom

Custom build steel frame, with not the best looking welds. It’s small for a person about 5’3”. All gray with no markings. It has a pink chris king headset and a wound up carbon fork. It was stolen with out the front wheel on it.

Meet the man who keeps PSU pedaling

32 year-old Portland native Ian Stude is a busy guy these days. When the Center neighborhood resident isn’t enjoying Portland’s bike fun culture, he’s in charge of the Bicycle Cooperative at Portland State University.

Ian has worked at the PSU Bike Co-op since 2004 when he was the sole employee. Now, as membership has grown, he manages two part-time employees and is heavily involved with plans for an upcoming major expansion and construction of a new, Metro grant-funded bike parking facility on the campus.

Weekend recap: Museums, mini-bikes, and cherry pie

To say there was something for everyone this past weekend would be a vast understatement.

Kicking off on Friday night was of course Mini-Bike Winter (MBW). With the help of MBW special correspondent Mykle Hansen, I brought you updates from opening night and Saturday’s Chariot action.

Yesterday, the MBW festivities reached an apex with “Greek Days”, a slew of events down near the Hawthorne Bridge. Photographer Dat Nguyen was their to record the action which included the Tricycle Relay Race, Mini-Bike Shot Put, The Cupcake Challenge, Mini-Bike Bowling, and more.
