Dealers descend on Portland for Super Seminar

This Friday, downtown Portland will play host to bicycle dealers from all over the Northwest when the National Bicycle Dealers Association stops in town for one of their Super Seminars.

These seminars — which have made previous stops in Philadelphia, Chicago, Denver, and San Francisco — help bike dealers improve their business by offering workshops on a wide range of topics.

Jay Graves, former president of the NBDA and owner of the six local Bike Gallery stores, will present a workshop titled, “Bicycle Advocacy Can Help Your Business.”

Bike Gallery Service and Training Manager Brett Fleming will share his knowledge in a workshop titled, “Service Department Professionalism and Profitability”.

The seminar is also a networking opportunity for dealers and manufacturers. SRAM Components is hosting an invite-only party for its dealers at a local bicycle parts distributor.

For more information on the seminar, visit the NBDA website.
