Another stolen bike recovered!

It’s been a while since we got a stolen bike back so it felt great to read this comment from a reader yesterday:

trek1100

[Recovered!]

“Wow, this thing really works. Two weeks after my bike was stolen in NW PDX, I received a phone call from a good samaritan who bought my bike for next to nothing at a transit station. He had Googled “stolen trek 1100 portland”, found my bikeportland.org listing right away and called me right up. Thanks to Sihonn and his roommate (whose name I never got), I’m back in the saddle again!”

Way to go team! A tech-savvy cycling community looking out for one another is a force to be reckoned with!

On another note, spammers have started registering so for now if you need to list a bike please email the details to jonathan[at]bikeportland[dot]org.
