Bridge Pedal head honcho Rick Baumann just sent me these photos of the 2006 Bridge Pedal commemorative helmet.
Graphic designer Michael Morrow and his Portland-based company Nutcase Helmets, have created what is sure to be a popular item. I was lucky enough to grab one of last year’s helmets (thanks Ric!) and I’m looking forward to adding this one to my collection.
The helmets are $30 and are available for sale with registration on-line at www.providence.org/bridgepedal.
Thanks for reading.

Um, I don’t get it. Why do I want a car tire track across my head?
What car tire track? I see a bike tire track ;-).
Even Surly couldn’t handle that fatty. It’s a *car* tire man. 🙂
I thought the same; but I figured someone else would point out the large tire track in 60 minutes or less.
Back to the drawing board Nutcase…Reminds me of the Pirelli P77’s from the 80’s
the design is okay but…. My problem with all the BridgePedal designs is that the word ‘providence’ is featured so that I’ve had people ask me if I was from Rhode Island when I wear some of this gear. I know they are the main sponser however it would be nice to see some better graphic depicting Portland or Oregon!
