I know the city of portland did a big press release to explain the bike boxes and all, but I would absolutely love to see the city of portland (teamed up with BTA dollars as well) make advertisements that could run on the 10 o clock news encouraging people to bike. Just a nice 30 second spot of people on bikes on the Esplanade I think would be enough. Has there been any discussion on this?
