Portland Mercury Alleycat

Posted by on July 27th, 2007 at 4:53 am

1st Annual Portland Mercury Alleycat!

Part race, part brain teaser, part scavenger hunt, the Mercury is throwing our first ever Alleycat Bicycle Scramble. Riders will compete in four stages, completing physical, mental, spiritual and gastronomic challenges to get a chance at CASH prizes and lasting glory. Bikes, beer, giant ears of corn, cash money . . . what more could anyone want?

Where: Sign up starting 1pm at the Mercury offices – 605 NE 21st Avenue. Race starts at 2pm.
Why: CASH MONEY. Glory. Fun.
Who: you and your friends. Race alone, or with a team of up to four members!

$5 per person (but you get a cold beer at the end), 21+. After party at Plan-B (formerly ACME), 6pm.

NOTE: At BikePortland, we love your comments. We love them so much that we devote many hours every week to read them and make sure they are productive, inclusive, and supportive. That doesn't mean you can't disagree with someone. It means you must do it with tact and respect. If you see an inconsiderate or inappropriate comment, please contact us and we'll take a look at it right away. Thank you — Jonathan and Michael
