A mudslide is blocking the Springwater Corridor just south of the Ross Island Bridge, Wednesday morning. Of course, no one had plowed the corridor.

Thanks for sharing this djstabe. I’ve forwarded it to Portland Parks and Rec. Hopefully they get it cleaned up ASAP. keep us posted.
Parks were there when I passed through cutting out a downed tree, so they’ve certainly seen the mud!
I forwarded, too. Thanks.
In the interests of science, I rode the Springwater this morning. Studded tires were a massive help in keeping upright but it was slow and wobbly going through the slush. The mud slide is next to one of the flat grassy areas toward the northern end of the path so can can easily be gone around in a few seconds – the slush is much more of a reason to avoid the path today, very tough going!
Parks says it’s on ODOT property and both agencies are aware of the case. Thanks again for reporting.
I rode past the mudslide today. It’s taped off and easy to get around, but not cleaned up yet.
Has anyone ridden the Springwater all the way out to Boring this week. Is it as slushy as it is here on the north end?
