Get working on those chariots; Mini Bike Winter is coming…

Our friends over at Zoobomb have announced the dates and events that will make up the eighth annual Mini Bike Winter. If you’ve never made it to this, you should definitely mark February 17th – 21st on your calendar.

I know it looks scary, but they actually rules and referees and stuff.

One of the highlights of Mini Bike Winter are the Ben Hurt Chariot Wars. The event pits teams of gladiators against one another in a battle of attrition that goes way beyond epic. Last year, one team rolled up in human-powered VW Bug — and it didn’t even win.

I’m putting this out early so all you freak bike makers and aspiring chariot builders can get started on your steeds.

Check out the details at Zoobomb.net/minibikewinter and the a Chariot Wars blog. Stay tuned!
