Velodrome Bill hearing Thursday in Salem

BTA lobbyist Scott Bricker reports that the Velodrome Bill in front of state lawmakers will get a public hearing this Thursday (3/29).

The Bill (S.B. 926), which would allocate State Parks Lottery funds to build two velodromes in Oregon, will be heard in front of the Senate Committee on Environment and Natural Resources. Republican Senator Jason Atkinson, who is behind the bill, is Vice-Chair of that committee.

Atkinson has already gained solid momentum for the velodromes and so far, nine of his Salem colleagues — from both sides of the aisle — have signed on to support it.

Now we must demonstrate community support and we need you to testify. Please consider joining us in Salem. Here are the details:
