Excuse me if this ends up here twice but I think the posting gods are not liking me today.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that my 5 year old daughter LOVES you guys and I think you are much better role models than Barbie.=)) I love that the sprockettes are so fun-loving, cool but not afraid to act goofy, real (they seem to represent many body types and not some fictional ideal) and are not TOO girly – don’t mind some bike grease or getting sweaty.

So, how about a show especially for young girls? Wouldn’t that be awesome? They should start doing shows at local schools! Okay, maybe not the direction you all wanted to go with this, but you SHOULD! And combine it with some self-confidence building something or other and then a workshop on bike safety and repair – just for girls! Oh, I guess boys could come too. Okay, I’ll take care of the rest, you gals just show up and do your thing. Seriously.

Also, which of these events listed is the best for all-ages and would allow my daughter to see you all in action? It’s hard to tell from the schedule what exactly is happening at each time and I don’t really want to expose her to rowdy drunkenness.

Hey Mommy!
I absolutely LOVE your suggestions.

I’d say that, first of all, the main party at Disjecta is all ages. It will be pretty loud, but if you just come for the beginning of the night, it should be family friendly. Other than that, unfortuantely, I don’t know that I can say any of the other events will be kid friendly. However, if you have more suggestions about doing workshops, I would love to talk to you more! Feel free to email me at nickeyrobo-at-riseup-dot-net. Thanks!!! We love you, too!
