Traffic safety education action on IShareTheRoad.com

traffic safety education action

Earlier this month, citizens, community groups, and city employees came together to raise awareness of traffic safety issues at the intersection of NW 9th and Lovejoy (more background here).

I’ve published a report and photos at IShareTheRoad.com.

IShareTheRoad.com is a new site I’m working on for the City of Portland as part of their ongoing Share the Road campaign.

It will cover news and views on traffic safety, sharing the road, and Safe Routes to School. It’s also the place to request free “I Share the Road” stickers.

So head on over, and while you’re there, take a peek at the I Share portrait gallery and check out this story and photos about the great kids at Lewis Elementary School…they walked and biked across the country last year!
