According to ride leader Ben Salzberg, it was more of a “taco mob” with around 30 people showing up for the taco feast. Here’s the great report from Ben:
The tiny taco truck of Lindo Michoacan was the first to be raided, with Team Chiva (goat) well represented. After devouring some 20-something tacos we ordered ahead and cha-cha’d to Cha! Cha! Cha! for more.
Several folks took the chance to indulge in a frosty adult beverage before we said “Ole!” and biked over to Ole Ole! After some more excellent tacos, it was decided that we had one more stop left in us so we headed down to La Casita and reformed Team Goat for a second tasting.
[Photo: Dat]The after-taco destino was Acme, now non-smoking inside and with an awesome patio. Plus they had some guy playing cool space sounds to an enormous projected Korean anime. Free. Check it out, on 8th near the Lucky Lab. Oh yeah, and full bar!
My personal reviews:
Best tortillas: Lindo Michoacan, hands down.
Best chiva: La Casita
Best Carnitas: still Ole Ole!I think I heard La Casita had the best tacos pescados also, but let’s hear from the teams. Chime in, Team Pollo, Team Pescado, y Team Veggie.
Thanks to everyone who came!
Now that sounds like a feast of bike fun!

Team Pollo says:
Lindo Michoacan, far and away the best.
Tender tortillas, most tender chicken and a spicy sauce!
