Thanks to advocates who spoke up, Parks has done an about-face.
The question remains: If bikes are such a clear possibility now, why weren’t they at the outset of the planning process?
The Parks bureau has framed this as a walking trail from the get-go, but they haven’t shared why.
Bordered and bisected by neighborhood greenway routes, this project will add to the non-driving options!
