Green Schwinn Collegiate 1967

Posted by on July 11th, 2011 at 5:08 pm

Year: 1967
Brand: Schwinn
Model: Collegiate
Stolen in Portland, OR 97215
Stolen From: Mt Tabor Apartments at 50th and Hawthorne
Neighborhood: Hawthorne / Mt Tabor
Owner: Alycia Horton
Description: This is a women’s 1967 Schwinn Collegiate. This bike is in fairly pristine condition. It has almost entirely original parts. A front basket was addition, but it has all the original chrome fenders, handlebars, lights with generator. It was U-locked to a rail through the tire and frame. The thief sawed through the rail to get the bike, but would not be able to ride it away (since the U-lock would keep the wheel from turning). Please help me find it!

I don’t have proof of ownership, but my boyfriend has its "mate". We bought the bikes as a pair and the serial numbers are very close (but I can’t remember what the actual number is).
Police record with: Portland PD
This registrant has documented proof of ownership of this bike

oh no! I saw this bike (and it’s mate) all the time when I walked by… so sad… it is indeed a very nice original bike…
