7:00am – 9:00am: Sisyphean Cruller Crawl
Epic ride between donut shops with lots of hills in between. Meet at Jamison Square Park, NW 10th and Johnson.

Noon – 1:00pm: Bike Brown Bag
Learn about and discuss the proposed Gateway Green bike recreation park. Bring your lunch! Portland Building, 1120 SW 5th Ave (2nd floor, Room C).

2:30pm – 6:30pm: Golf by Bike
Join Mercury reporter Matt Davis for a few rounds of the other bicycling — golf. Meet at the Merc’s office, 605 NE 21st Ave.

6:00pm: Dekum to Woodstock
Ride from far-ish north to far-ish southeast Portland, learning the history of every street name you cross. Yow. Meet at Good Neighbor Pizza, 800 NE Dekum St.

6:00pm: Dekum to Ultimate Frisbee
Meet up for pizza with the street names ride and then peel off for a game of Ultimate.

6:00pm: Raining Cats and Monkeys
Meet at Palio’s coffeeshop in Ladd Circle and ride around checking out monkey puzzle trees and spotting cats.

6:00pm: A Day at the Races
An equestrian-themed ride. Dress up yourself and your steed, and meet at the The Rialto, 529 SW 4th Ave, for drinks and betting, followed by races.

6:00pm: 3rd Annual Rocky Butte Sunset Dance Party Picnic
Bring a picnic and your dancing outfit and meet at Irving Park (NE Klickitat and 11th).

6:30pm: Unicycle Polo
Play. Watch. Learn. Drink. This happens every Thursday in Alberta Park.

6:30pm – late: Aloha Todd! Party and Low Bar Tour
Farewell party for Todd Boulanger, former transportation planner for the Couve. The party is at Angst Gallery at 1015 Main Street, Vancouver — at 9:00pm revelers will join Todd on a tour of Vancouver’s finest drinking establishments.

wow — horse racing? really? i guess there’s room for everything in this crowd, but i’ve become accustomed to the ecological AND very visible vegan/animal rights demographics in the bike community….
