Here’s a great, bike-friendly sign put out by a small coffee cart at N. Fremont and Vancouver streets. This photo was sent in by Emily Gardner of the BTA. Thanks Emily!

what if I show up with this kind of dubz?
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=dubs
Yeah, I hear dubz and I\’m thinking spinners and lo-pros on an Escalade…
um, I think that\’s the joke. see, it\’s a play on words…
yeah, I\’m well aware of what \”dubz\” are.
maybe if you show up on real Dubz you get $1 off the car wash place that\’s in that same parking lot?
\’dubz\’ are big wheels. The sign shows stencils of bikes, not stupid escalades.
BMX bikes only… 20\”
Spinner bicycle wheels?
Ohhhhh….dubs as in doubles.
(note to self: do not post before second cup of coffee)
BMX Bikes are 20\”…that is what size dubz are too.
You people need to get your joke detectors checked, jeez.
right on…
I saw that the other day, and it really made me want to stop and get a cup. But I\’m not skilled enough to ride and drink coffee at the same time, so I passed.
i live by this place, it is the backbridge coffee cart. they advertise \”free trade\” coffee, at least their sign used to read that. never bought coffee there, they seem to have no set schedule. The dubz thing is confusing, because a car was operated at the same site, and there are often cars on 20s or 22s and $1 off seems like a lot for coffee. but then again there are bikes on the sign so it probably is itended for the cart. I guess it only applies to espresso drinks
more overanalyzing please…
Pedestrians always get shafted 🙁
Their espresso has been sour the 2 times I got some. Someone go there and prove me wrong.
This sign is grammatically incorrect.
Today I saw a lady riding up the 14th ave hill towards Prescott. I was like,\” What is on her face?\”
She had a clear plastic cup of coffee clenched in her teeth, with lid and straw poking the air, the coffee sloshing around wildly inside.
She was looking like a fierce animal, with the coffee acting as the proverbial carrot on the stick.
Does she get to take a sip when she gets to the top of the hill?
PDX S.E.
I have a pix of a sign outside of Hinson Church that\’s in the same thread. What\’s the code to post a pix in comments?
$.50 off if I ride a unicycle?
Clark, that ride is PHAT!
test pic post – Honathan, please delete if desired. An attempt to answer #20 and my own curiosity.

\”Dubs\” as in Doubles or Two. With beer, its \”Double Duce\” as in 22oz.Dubs = TWO WHEELS Get it??? #21 gets it, fidycent!
I am totally lost here, of course I\’m totally dense as well.
I stopped yesterday, and had a cup of coffee and a nice chat with the kid running the place. To my surprise, today it was gone. Anyone know what happened?
