Online bicycling clothing retailer BicyclingHub.com has moved into a new space on the ground-floor of the Water Avenue Commerce Center at the corner of SE Water and Taylor streets.

The business has operated from an office in the same building since 2001. The new location is just one block north of the popular Salmon Street bikeway and the entrance to the Eastbank Esplanade.

BicyclingHub.com’s owner Doug Duguay says he just opened the doors last week and hopes the visible location will help bring in customers to browse and buy his large selection of bike clothing which includes brands like Castelli, Assos, Descente, Giordana and Showers Pass.

If you’re already a fan of BicyclingHub.com’s online selection, Duguay says his new retail store will feature special items not available online.

Drop by soon and check it out. The new store is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10-6.

Doug\’s online shop rocks — best place for Castelli bar none — and Doug goes above and beyond with the personal service. The in person experience can only be an upgrade.

Store looks nice. I will have to check it out (not many places carry Assos).

Unrelated sidenote: I see you carry the polka dot climbers jersey. I have always liked the way that jersey looked but I would feel like such a tool wearing one. Oh well 🙁

Awesome! I was just looking at their website two days ago and dismissed it because, from what I could tell, they seemed to be an online-only operation. I didn\’t know they had a store. (And actually, I still can\’t tell that they have a physical store from looking at their website.) Here I was steeling myself for a trip to REI.
