This report submitted by Deepak:
“We had over 50 people show up for some local beer action starting at Amnesia and continueing on to Mash Tun, Alemeda Brewhouse, and Old Lompoc’s 5th Quadrant before most of the crew headed off to MMR. We had two crashes, one a wipeout around a turn and another a rider running into some homeowner’s pile of dirt that was placed in the middle of the street.
The bartenders at Alameda were not quite ready for us and definetly had a shocked looked on their face when we got there.
All in all, a great ride and I plan to lead a longer full-day, 4-quadrant brewery tour later in the summer.”
Thanks Deepak!

I was home, checking the kick-off parade’s photos, all clowned-up after a gig, when my roomy Caffeine screamed: “Pinga, it’s a Pedalpalooza ride!” I jump off the chair onto a tall-bike and join the ride to Alameda! It was really fun, and I’m glad you guys rode in front of my house!
Yes, really really fun pub crawl – so many new faces – and I even made friends with two other gals named kari. Bystandsers loved us, and cheered us on from pub to pub. The best part of the crawl was after Alameda we biked back down to the 5th Quadrant close to where we started, and we went down lots of fun hills and secret paths. Also luckily there was outdoor seating at all locations so we could all find seating. Good one Deepak. It’s been a long time since I felt a “ride” the next day.
