Today in the auditorium of the Portland Building, PDOT’s monthly bicycle brown bag series discussion focuses on women, bikes and business.

Our multi-faceted panel will include women whose passion for cycling led them to become bike entrepreneurs. Come hear their perspectives about working, riding & building community in a field not (yet) known for gender parity.

I just got back from this presentation.
All the ladies shared very interesting stories from their personal and professional lives.
It was an inspiring and informational session. Thanks Timo, Janis, and Alison for putting this together.
I just wish I had taken my audio recorder!

Each panelist brought a unique story and with a passion for women in cycling that was a true inspiration! I enjoyed this and learnd so much from these women.
I plan on attending the monthly meeting! Portland women can truly inspire and support each other as we enter into the bike market.

Hi there, yes, the panel was fantastic - such great stories! It is also wonderful to hear about other women-owned bikey businesses!

Come learn from the Bicycle Transportation Alliance's bicycling commuting expert, Michelle Poyourow, about how to dial up your visibility, waterproofness and warmth in these winter months. This event will be a hands-on demonstration, so bring your questions. We will have time for Q&A, show-and-tell and sharing ideas with others about how to ride safely. For riders of all levels!
Feel free to join us (and everyone is welcome - the group is not limited to women but invites anyone that wants to support women and cycling).
