Introducing BikeSeattle.org

Posted by Jonathan Maus (Editor) on February 14th, 2006 at 9:31 am

Two weeks ago I got an email from Cameron Mallory. Cameron is a computer programmer who has lived in Seattle for 6 years, has ridden STP, commutes by bike, and races cyclocross. He said he’d been reading BikePortland.org for several months and wanted to do something similar up in Seattle. I of course was thrilled and I encouraged him to get started.

So go and take a look at BikeSeattle.org. Good luck Cameron!

It seems like his layout needs some work. Part of the appeal to bikeportland is the ease in which you can navigate it. Maybe a different font and use of colors.

    Just a suggestion.

    Good Luck!

    David-
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll look at changing the font style/size for sure.

One of the things that Jonathan and I talked about was not making the site look *exactly* like bikeportland, just so readers don't get confused.
