Sign-in will be with the ride leader at the start location. Provide your name, membership number and emergency contact phone number. The sign-in sheet will be filled out by the ride leader. At the end of the ride email the ride leader at obsidianrabbit@q.com to correct your mileage, if other than what was noted when signing-in.

If more than 10 riders show up, the ride will be split into smaller groups with staggered starts.

There are 100 ways to get from the Gateway Transit area to Jazzy Bagel in Gresham. Come explore them all! Despite the variety of ways, there are usually just 2 or 3 distances available on these loops through the East County area. Maps will be provided at the ride start.

Description

Travel east through Vancouver and out around Lacamas Lake. On the way back we will visit a wonderful bakery. This is a good combination of city and rural riding. A little climbing, less than 1,000 feet. Pace 14-16 mph on the flats.

Traditional Kelley Point loop starting at Wilshire Park going through Northeast and North Portland. There will be a restroom break at the Smith/Bybee Lakes Interlake Parking area. The coffee stop is at Cathedral Coffee on N Willamette Blvd and N Edgewater Ave. Please note this is a non-group ride with a brisk, relatively flat ride, at a pace of 15-17 mph.
