Banjo Brothers, a popular brand of bike bags and accessories, will b ring their “Tiny Bikeshop Concert Series” to Portland tomorrow night (7/30).
The free concert will take place inside Western Bikeworks on NW 17th and Lovejoy.
Here’s more from the company:
“This summer Banjo Brothers hired King Mulhacen, a band based out of Fordham University in New York, to do a Western US tour bringing our Banjo Brothers Tiny Bikeshop Concert Series to “the world’s best bike shops.” We kicked off the series in Minneapolis and have since had shows in Duluth, MN, Denver, CO, Seattle, WA. We’ll hit Portland, Oakland, San Francisco and Los Angeles and will end the tour in New Orleans this fall…
The intimate setting combined with the great people who normally hang out in bike shops can make for a magical experience.”
The event will kick off at 7:00 pm with a happy hour/socializing and free snacks and drinks. Then it’s on to a one-hour acoustic set by King Mulhacen followed by a bike ride into the sunset.

Western is a lot of things, but “tiny” isn’t one of them.
Hater.
It’d be quietly funny if they played their tour of bike stores using Gitane or Rodriguez guitars!
