Temporary I-205 path detour notice

Please note the traffic detour information below…

TRAFFIC ADVISORY
I-205 path users to see minor detour for next two weeks near E Burnside

The Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that roadway construction will detour the I-205 ODOT Multiuse Path from October 31 through approximately November 18. Pedestrian and bicycle traffic will be detoured from the path onto adjacent streets during construction.

Bicyclists will be provided with signage that will direct them onto NE 97th Avenue between E Burnside and NE Glisan streets.

Pedestrians will be directed to continue on the I-205 Multiuse Pathway until north of NE Davis Street and onto a new sidewalk on the west side of NE 97th Avenue, between NE Davis and NE Glisan streets.

This project will construct a stormwater system and curbs and sidewalks.

Hah! 97th still doesn’t get you past the horrible crossing on Glisan. I usually get off the path at the Transit Center, go south on 99th, and then follow Burnside back to rejoin the path. Been doing that for years.
