The City of Portland’s Sunday Parkways event rolls to North Portland this weekend. Last year, more than 23,000 people attended this event.

The free event features an eight-mile loop of (mostly) carfree streets from Peninsula Park in the Piedmont Neighborhood to McCoy Park near the New Columbia community. Tons of activities, live music, food vendors and more are planned in parks all along the route. The event will last from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Get the full lowdown from the official website. For a bit of what to expect, check out my slideshow from last year…
