Save the date: PBOT announces date for 2011 Transpo Safety Summit

PBOT has announced the date of their 2011 Transportation Safety Summit. The event will be held on February 8th at Marshall High School on 3905 SE 91st Ave.

The Safety Summit is a worthwhile event where PBOT brings much of their staff — as well as members of the Police Bureau Traffic Division and bigwigs from ODOT — out to the community to go over what they’ve done and what they plan to do to make our roads safer.

I’ll post more details on this year’s event as they become available. For now, check out our recap from the 2009 Summit.

looks like it’s open to the public, so I could go if I could get the day off…

is this an all day event? looks like it was only a couple hours last year, which sounds disappointing…

looking forward to more info…
