Are you an experienced mechanic who likes working on the fly?

We are urgently seeking mechanics to support our Big Rides this summer:
Big Ride Across America June 21 – Aug 15 approx 40 riders
Big Ride Glacier (MT) July 11 – July 21 approx 15 riders
Big Ride Pacific Coast (SEA-SF) September 11 – 30 approx 30 riders

Duties include repairing and maintaining participants’ bicycles as needed, maintaining inventory of parts & maintenance items, keeping accurate financial records, providing on road assistance, water stations and other duties as assigned by the ride leader.

The hours are long, but it’s a pretty fun adventure. The riders usually have nice road bikes and have been repeatedly instructed to make certain they are in great working order. The position is paid and meals are included (no cooking required!). Due to the requirements of the vehicle leasing company, candidates at least 25 years of age will be given prefer ence. Candidates also must be willing to study for & obtain HAM radio license prior to the start of the relevant tour.
