BikeCraft II set for City Hall

BikeCraft! (photos by Dave Sharp)

[A scene from last
year’s BikeCraft event.]

I’ve finally confirmed a location and date for BikeCraft II. It will happen in the atrium of City Hall in downtown Portland on Thursday, December 7th.

BikeCraft is an event that showcases handmade, bicycle-related arts and crafts made in Portland. For more information check out the BikeCraft page I made for last year’s show.

Where else can you support local crafters and buy things like beer bottle cap rear view mirrors, bike sweaters, letter-pressed bike stationary, all sorts of bike-inspired T-shirts, bike part jewelry, and oh so much more?

Last year’s event was at a coffee place in Northeast Portland and it was a bit too crowded for some folks. So now we’ve got the first floor of City Hall to spread out in.

It’s going to be a fantastic night…I sure hope you’ll join us!

More details coming soon…

Great location, Jonathan.

Off-topic (as usual)… it would be great if one of the Bakfiet owners would bring their bike to a public function like this so we could check it out.

Yes, great location.
We were actually talking about this when we were up in Canadia last month, we were hoping it would be at a larger location. I know I didn’t stay long last year because it was so crowded… well, and I was broke. hah.

If you ask Todd or one of the other Bakfiets guys, I bet they’d be happy to bring one for test rides.
