Video: Transforming Our Streets: Parklets in Portland

Local livable streets activist Steve Bozzone has just published a new short video titled, Transforming Our Streets: Parklets in Portland. The film chronicles the efforts of Re-thinking the Right of Way, a fledgling local group working to establish permanent "PedPlazas" in parking spaces throughout the city (we reported on their efforts back in August).

Another reason to avoid N.Mississippi. It's a congested mad house no matter what your mode of transportation.

RecommendedI stumbled upon the Parklet that day while shopping at The Rebuilding Center -- it looked great and worked great -- we sat in a church pew for a couple minutes, protected from the rain by a canopy.
It was a great vibe to be on the street, protected, sitting, and chilling.
