Weekend Open Thread

Posted by Elly Blue (Editor) on July 17th, 2009 at 4:43 pm

What are your plans this weekend?

There are a ton of organized events going on — check out yesterday’s Weekend Event Roundup for a partial list.

If you’re still looking for something fun tonight, check out the fun-sounding Rubber Side Down Exploratory Ride or, if you’ve got young’uns, Kidical Mass in the early evening. Later on is a particularly fun birthday celebration on the Dropout Ride .

Working. But biking to work, does that count? :) And probably a recreation ride somewhere too.

We are having a party for KNOG lights on Wednesday. It is at Rontoms on SE6th and Burnside. There will be product giveaways, ping pong, bike riding and more! Come Through and show Australia what Portland's Bike scene is all about!!!!! Party starts at 7pm and there may be special gifts for the first people there.

Up waaaaay early to watch TdF and have a hearty bkfast with friends (champagne included). Then we're off for a long ride to work off the excitement and the calories. Will come through the Parkways on the way back.
