Council hearing on bike safety resolution canceled

Posted by Jonathan Maus (Editor) on December 19th, 2007 at 9:42 am

Tonight’s City Council session where Commissioner Adams was scheduled to present a bike safety resolution has been canceled.

According to Roland Chlapowski, due to members of Council being sick and unable to attend, there will not be a quorom for the 6:00 hearing.

The session will be rescheduled and I will post the new date and time as soon as I can.

Thanks for the head's up- I was going to be there and was thankful of your post notifying all of the hearing - glad I decided to do a little lunch time reading. Tracking bike-related and alternative transportation-related topics through the council calendar is a huge challenge. Will you be able to provide the new date/time when you know it?

Folks who were planning to go to the hearing are welcome to come to my campaign coffee tonight at Sound Grounds (37th and Belmont) from 5:30-7 instead!
