Small Museums By Bike: Discovering Gresham

Met at Eastbank Esplanade at Hawthorne Bridge, Portland*

10:45 am (length - half-day adventure)
The 4th largest city in Oregon, Gresham, may seem like just a suburb of Portland, but they have a lot going on. Gresham’s historical downtown is delightful, famous bagels (Jazzys) a-wait you, and a famous girl (Miss America, 2002 Katie Harman) was born there. Also getting there is easy thanks to the Springwater Corridor, a flat bike-ped only path. Bring a sack lunch or money for bagels and we will enjoy exhibits at the Gresham History Museum (donations accepted), and take the Gresham history walk.

How far? About 16 miles one way leisurely pace to Gresham via the Springwater Corridor bike path. Option to take the Max train back to Portland (bring $2). Otherwise 32 miles roundtrip.
FREE (bring $ for lunch, museum donation, max train)
