9:00am, Please arrive by 8:30 to check-in. Ride will end around 1:30pm. Join the Portland Water Bureau and the Columbia Slough Watershed Council for a bicycle tour through Portland’s Groundwater Protection Area located in the Columbia Slough Watershed. Groundwater Specialist Randy Albright of the Portland Water Bureau will lead the ride and reveal the mysteries of groundwater and explain how we can all protect this important groundwater resource. The ride passes through 16 miles over relatively flat terrain, at a slow/moderate pace. Ages 12 and up are welcome. Bring your bike, helmet, water and lunch. Dress for the weather. Space is limited, so register early!
