I’m excited to announce that BikeCraft is coming to the Multonomah County Bike Fair (MCBF). MCBF is the biggest, baddest bike party of the year and what better place to feature Portland’s bevy of bikey artists and crafters?

Last December, the first-ever BikeCraft was a huge success. People packed the venue on an icy night to peruse the wares of over 20 vendors selling everything from stoneware engraved with chainrings and a pedal-powered sewing machine, to custom stenciled bike t-shirts and helmet-mounted rear view mirrors made from spokes and beer bottle caps. In a nutshell, it’s a lot of really great stuff made by creative and bikey Portlanders that you just don’t see anywhere else!

If you weren’t around in December and you’d like to learn more about BikeCraft, check out the event page, get to know the artists and their work and read the recap from the last one.

Stay tuned for more details and I’ll see you on June 24th at Colonel Summers Park! And please do get in touch if you know anyone making bikey arts and crafts that isn’t already on my list.
