Description: My bicycle was stolen near the stairs of the back patio of my north portland residence (near mlk and rosa parks) while I ran inside to grab my bags. My uncle was near, working in the back yard while this happened, yet thought it was me when he heard the bike being taken away. The bike was stolen no more than 10 minutes after I arrived, literally feet away from my uncle just around the corner… sometime around 3:30pm 7/5/13. The suspect was not seen, unfortunately. The bike is a yellow and black women’s Centurion, approx. 52 cm, with a black back rack and black handle bars. Black electrical tape has been applied to the screws connecting the rack to the bike. There are two stickers on the bike – one bike parking permit for Capital Property Management and one white and black one with the initials “AA”. The paint is chipping with some rust at the frame. On the frame, there is a ulock attached as well as a water bottle holder. I unfortunately do not have a serial number. This bike was purchased from someone on portland’s craigslist for $250. Please reach me at 503-927-9399 if you have any information.
