Pedalpalooza Recap: Tutu Food Cart Ride

Recap below, photo by Michael Friedman

Reporter Name – Michael Friedman
Ride Date – June 16, 2011
How many people showed up? 45

Recap:
Lots of tutus, lots of smiles, lots of food! A great time was had by all – we rode through downtown and across to the east side. We started at the carts on SW 3rd & Stark, hit the Green Castle cart pod on NE 20th & Davis, rode over to the Good Food Here pod on SE 43rd & Belmont, and those with room in their bellies rolled down to Cartopia at SE 12th & Hawthorne. As one person told me (and I’m paraphrasing), “there’s something bonding about being on a ride where everyone is vulnerable in the same way.” Tutu’s Unite!
