Two reasons to shop at Whole Foods in Laurelhurst Thursday

You might have swung by the Whole Foods booth at our last BikeCraft event where they were kind enough to show up with some free snacks. Looking to further their involvement with the community, the Laurelhurst Whole Foods (2825 East Burnside St.) is hosting a BTA fundraising day and a bike artisan fair this Thursday.

When you shop at the Laurelhurst Whole Foods this Thursday January 6th, they’ll give 5 percent of the net sales from the entire day to the BTA. In addition, they’ll also hold a bike artisan fair (from 3-6pm) which will feature some of your favorite BikeCraft vendors.

Support local bike artisans and local bike advocates in one stop!

The bike craft fair will now be from 3-6 pm (rather than 11-6.) It will be held inside near the cafe.

I suspect that there are many bike-commuters (me included) who would love to stop by but won’t be able to because those are working hours for most (or at least many) of them. Too bad it can’t go til 7 or 8.
