We’ve had a gorgeous fall here in Portland (almost nice enough to make up for our non-summer). Riding through the bold colors has been quite a treat. On that note, I wanted to share a few photos from our multi-colored bikeways…

if it wasn’t pouring down rain right now this would have made me go for a ride…
also I just got back from a cross-town pub-trans trek…
Greats photos!
I was just out there; it’s worth it, even if it’s raining!

I almost went, but it got real dark, real fast. Gotta practice getting up early in the AM now with the time change, in order to maximize sun-time and soak up those colors while possible. Will forward those pictures to some less bicyly-blessed folks in other states. Thanks.
Thanks for the photos. Sure does make me miss home.
Great photo essay, Jonathan!! Excellent.
Don’t forget to pay that leaf removal fee!
this makes me wish I wasn’t down from being hit by a car last week! I love the photos and can’t wait to ride again.
Visually stunning. Thank You.
Hey Jonathan, just got home to Hawaii after a 4 day trek to PDX and was just thinking about the beautiful fall colors. I cycled all over town and wish I took more photos. I opened your site, and there they are! Thank you.
Speaking of leaves. I was wondering how long the outrage over the leaf removal fee would take to be linked to bicycle infrastructure:

My favorite time of the year to be out pushin’ the pedals.
I agree, it has been and continues to be a nice fall, in spite of the rain. I didn’t think it was a bad summer either. Thanks for the photos.
Lovely! I especially like the sunrise shot, and the focus-blur on the very-Euro looking fellow there on the blue bike.
It has been an enjoyable autumn. Thanks for the pretty pictures.
Since Fall color in the southern Appalachian chain has been particularly drab this year, I am most appreciative of your sharing.
