7:00am Breakfast on the Bridges
Free coffee and doughnuts just for walking or riding my bike?!? Please pull off to the side and allow the already caffeinated to get to work on time. Westbound ends of Hawthorne, Morrison and Steel bridges. 7am-9am.
12:00pm Business On A Bike
The weekly networking ride meets at OMSI submarine on Eastbank Esplanade and is the new golf.
12:00pm Bikini Bike Wash
The Irondelles tall bike gang, sporting swimwear, will spiff up your bike so it looks its best for this month’s fest.
12-4pm. 39th and Taylor across from the Library.
3:00pm Museums by Bike: Hollywood
Follow Hidden Portland’s Carye Bye on a multi stop cinema flavored tour. $5. Goes until 7pm.
5:30pm Gas Mask Ride
Albina City Park 2300 N. Flint Ave. Bring your respirator, gas mask, personal breathing apparatus or air filter and join in to remind our car culture that it is quietly killing us.
5:30pm Hott Sock II: Return of the Crew
The pun just never stops. Pull on your fanciest foot coverings and meet at Vera Katz statue on the Eastbank Esplanade for a colorful jaunt about town including stops at multiple sock specialty spots. Final stop –
Zilla Sake up on Alberta, in celebration of potable homophones(ish). You’ve been worn(ed).
7:00pm Blue Heron Rookery
Meet at Kenton Yellow line MAX station for a 5 mile sunset tour of Portland’s own heron rookery. Hosted by Parks and Rec. Pre registration suggested. Ends at Pizza Fino. Weather is looking perfect!
7:00pm Bike Porn 4 PLAY
The latest in a series of erotic short films by various artists. 18 and over only. $6. Clinton Street Theater – 2522 SE Clinton St. 2nd screening at 9:30pm.
7:00pm Bike to Baseball
Looking for a family friendly event? Roll over to PGE park and congratulate all the Walk + Bike Challenge winners. Beavers baseball will ensue. Discount tickets available.
7:00pm College Radio Ride
Those in search of live music tonight should make their way to 1825 SW Broadway at 7:00pm for this ride-to-concert. KPSU radio will lead (with audio chariot) to a secret venue where live bands play til the wee hours. $5 for the shows.
7:00pm Bicycle Film Fest
Suzette Creperie at 29th and Alberta is hosting free movies every Friday in June. Come over tonight and see Peewee’s Big Adventure while feasting on their finest flattened food.
8:00pm Tour de Raunch
A rolling tour of Portland’s myriad strip clubs. 21 and over. Bring ID and tip your dancers please.
8:00pm Bowie vs. Prince
The 3rd annual hip shaking costume fest takes off from 50th and Division at 8:00pm. Mobile sound systems mean the party is wherever you is. Emancipate yourself through Chaos and Disorder and Let’s Dance!
9:30pm Bike Porn 4 PLAY
The evening’s second showing of erotic short films. Clinton St. Theater. 18 and over. $6.00. Goes to 11:30pm so call your friends who went on the Bowie vs. Prince ride and hook up with them post-porno or get on over to MMR.
