9:45am Learn Ride with Camp Bike Fun
Adult and young adult classes to raise money for Camp Bike Fun’s summer program. Pre register by calling 503-382-7285. Woodlawn School. 7200 NE 11th Ave. 9:45am-11:45am.
5:00pm Mercury Release Party!
Celebrate the release of the Portland Mercury’s annual bike issue with a drink at Laurelthirst pub before heading to the kickoff ride. 2958 NE Glissan.
5:00pm Splendid Cycles Grand Opening Bash
Portland’s newest cargo bike specialists invite you for food and drink until 9pm. 1407 SE Belmont.
7:00pm Kickoff Ride
Meet at 6pm in Laurelhurst Park pond. Ride at 7pm. (5 if you want to join in the potluck meal.) If you can only make one ride this week, consider this one.
10:00pm 3rd annual Foster Rd. Night Ride and Tavern Tour
“An easy ride exploring the late-night tavern underculture of an area rapidly becoming known as the swanky part of felony flats.” Starts at Smokey’s – SE Foster and 56th Ave.
10:30pm Rooftop Ride!
An adventurous tour of Portland from above. Starts at the 15th floor of the Nines. (525 SW Morrison) Acrophobes need not apply.

Zoobomb the NINES?!
I want to do the rooftop ride but am not confident in my roof-to-roof bike jumping skills. Anyone know if the pace will be slow enough that I can ride at ground level and take stairs/elevator to each subsequent roof?
Sorry, my superman cape is at the cleaners, and I just got my tweed coat back from there. Zoobombing sounds great, wear your neon bolts.
Does anyone know where the kickoff ride will end? I’m bringing a kid and a non-biker and want to know what to expect (other than the unexpected).

A group bike ride from Northwest Portland to the Pedalpalooza Kickoff ride!
We will meet at the corner of NW Park and Couch Street (North Park Blocks) at 5:45 PM. The group will depart the North Park blocks at 6:00 PM.
