Tonight: Kickoff Parade will begin Pedalpalooza madness

Tonight is the annual Pedalpalooza Kickoff Parade.
If you want to bear witness to the wonderment (is that a word?) that is the Portland Bike Scene and/or take part in a rolling celebration of all that is beautiful about human-powered transportation, you should not miss this event!
The parade will have a full police escort and will meet at Jamison Square (NW 10th and Johnson) at 6:15, but you’ll want to arrive early to soak up the sights and decorate your bike.
And what to do after the parade? Get some dinner and then keep the good times rolling with the 5 Senses Ride. Veteran bike funnists Emily Wilson and Timo Forsberg will lead a ride “with stops that have something for each of your 5 senses in each of the 5 quadrants.”
5 Senses Ride
9pm
Plan B Cafe (1305 SE 8th Ave)
Check out the full Pedalpalooza Calendar and chart your course for the next two weeks of bike fun!
