Metroblogging Portland writer Alex Williams had a run-in with the Day Time Naked Bike Ride yesterday. He pulled up next to a group of cyclists sans-clothing on SE Stark.
The run-in inspired Williams to compare Pedalpalooza to the Rose Festival (an annual event that coincides with Pedalpalooza each June). Not surprisingly, he concludes that naked cyclists rule.
Here’s what he wrote on Metblogs.
Pedalpalooza is in full swing. We’ve already ridden naked, explored obscure bikeways, and jousted to our hearts content.
So far I haven’t been able to attend as many rides as I’d like (that will change in a few days!), so I’ve been trying to figure out a way for everyone to share their experiences and ride reports from the action. Below are all the rides on tap for today. If you’re able to attend one (or several) of them, please share your reports and links to photos in the comments section.
