Don’t let dancing mobs and “anarchy” scare you away from Last Thursday on Alberta tonight. If you do, you’ll miss a chance to see the Clown House at its best.
This month they’ve got a very special guest. Captain Ace Hole from Chicago, Illinois will perform “high-flying stunts” on a triple-stacked tall bike.
The crew has been working hard to get the yard ready for action and with another gorgeous night in store, you know the Clown House will be rocking tonight.
Where else in Portland can you see grown men and women dressed up like clowns, racing around on freak bikes? Why not make tonight the night you finally give tall bikes a try (I’m sure someone will let you give it a go if you ask nicely). Here’s what happened when I did…

Come on out and enjoy the antics!

What time?
there’s no real set time to start… but expect things to get really hopping as the sun goes down. festivities will likely get started around 6 or so.
I’ve never been to a “Last Thursday”, is it family friendly or more over 21ish? And where on Alberta is it?
Thanks anyone
Steve,
I’ve taken my family (wife and girls ages 1 and 4) to Last Thursday many times. It’s amazing for them to see all the interesting people, hear the live music and performances on the street, and just be a part of the energy of a street full of people. we love it.
it becomes more of an over 21 thing as the night gets later.
Steve: It’s pretty much everywhere between 15th & 30th. The Clown House in particular is on 25th, but there is stuff going on all down the street. Look for the anarchist mobs pillaging and setting things on fire and you’ll know you’ve arrived. Be sure to tell them you didn’t bring your children as a sacrifice and pray they listen to you.
Meh tried to go tonight but it wasn’t in the cards. Life ‘gets in the way’ sometimes.
Definately noticed a greater police presence over other art fairs. Everyone seemed pretty chill and had a good time.
