UP gets commemorative bike lane stencil

upsoccerbikelane

There’s another new bike lane stencil that just hit Portland streets. This one was made to commemorate the University of Portland women’s soccer team on their NCAA championship victory. It lives on N. Willamette Blvd.

I ride by there all the time so I look forward to introducing myself.

I was present for this being laid down and shot the process for my doc. It came out pretty good. The arm being raised in the air was my idea as was the placement of the soccer ball. Where is a good place to put a soccer ball when you are riding a bike?

For these queens (UP Soccer), I would suspect that they would just juggle (using the head) while they are riding!
Way to go Pilots!
