Vancouver City Council awarded a bid Monday, May 5, to Integrity Excavation & Construction of Battle Ground, for improvements to the Burnt Bridge Creek Trail between Fruit Valley Road and Hazel Dell Avenue and new trailhead improvements at Fruit Valley Road and Bernie Drive.

A 1.5 mile section of the trail, beginning at Bernie Drive and Fruit Valley Road, will close to the public mid-May, and will remain closed until the end of the year. Work will include trail widening, resurfacing and trailhead improvements.
